MM Goodness Book Review - Voyageurs by Keira Andrews

Amazon

I really enjoyed this short story. It’s incredibly well-written and the setting is something that’s new and unique, at least to me. I’ve not found many MM romances set in the Canadian wilderness in the 1790’s. If there are more out there, someone fell free to shout at me so I can find them. I’d love of more of this kind of story. And yes, I’d love more of Simon and Christian’s story as well!

The two leading men just meshed perfectly. There were cultural differences to overcome and some harrowing times, but those brought the two men closer in a natural and realistic way. The plot was quite interesting, the attention to detail superb, and the sex was steamy hot. The romance was kind of slow burn which is fine because after about the 45% mark Simon and Christian caught fire. It’s a wonderful period piece filled with adventure, romance, and love. Highly recommended!

MM Goodness Book Review - Creative Process by Jodi Payne

Oh, my stars and cellos did I love this book! Before we get into the gushing over the book let me gush a bit over the cover. Look at this lovely!

Isn’t that beautiful?! It’s just a perfect representation of the guys in the book. Such bliss. *sighs*

Okay, so onto my review. I adored this book. Everything works and works perfectly in this romance tale of an author and a cellist. Reese and Owen click from the first time they laid eyes on each other. They’re simply adorable as a couple and as individuals. I could relate to Reese, our gory crime thriller author quite well. I don’t get into my work quite as deeply as he does, but there are times its close. Frighteningly close!

The flow of this story is wonderful and smooth and the secondary characters delightful. I sure hope we get a book for Chad, I loved him and want to see him with his special someone. The sex is hot, hot, hot, hottie McHotsen hot! And the romance is paced perfectly and quite realistically. Ms. Payne gives us a couple who are flawed, funny, tender, and loving. Go grab your copy now!

MM Goodness Book Review - The Altered by Annabelle Jacobs

Amazon

*~~*

What a wonderful read! I've been hankering for an MM paranormal romance for some time, and was thrilled when a friend directed me to this one. Ms. Jacobs does a fantastic job of world building and introducing us to her wolf shifters aka altereds.

The story line was brisk, the plot tight, the dialog snappy, and the leading men instantly appealing. It's a nice sensual read with hot bedroom scenes and tenderness throughout. I'll be grabbing the next two in the series as I'm quite interested in finding out about some of the secondary characters we met in this first book.

For those who like a little bite with their romance, this one comes highly recommended.
